The classes are brought to you in partnership with Uxbridge College, Ealing Children Centres and Ealing Adult Learning.

 

The classes run for a full academic year, with 3 modules split over 3 terms. Classes are held twice a week.

 

Term 3 – Apr – July 2010 Writing

 

Learners wishing to gain a place on the courses should come along for enrolment and assessment on the days and times as indicated below. The assessment should take no more than an hour and will enable the college to allocate you an appropriate place on one of our courses. Please note, we will do all we can to allocate you to the venue of your choice, however, the classes will be determined by level of ability. If the class nearest to you is not suitable, we will allocate you a place at the venue where the level of ability is most suited to you.

There is an opportunity for all learners to gain accreditation, which involves 3 assessments at the end of each term. The accreditation is carried out by Uxbridge College and requires a one off registration fee of £30 payable before the first assessment at the end of the first term. Please note; this is entirely optional however we would like to encourage learners to gain accreditation.

Whilst the classes are FREE to attend, we do require a suitable level of commitment and attendance to continue to hold your place in the class. Learners will be asked to maintain an attendance level of 80% per term and be able to commit to attending twice a week. Places on the courses are limited so whilst we will endeavour to offer all enrolled learners a place, we will have to do this on a first come, first served basis. In addition, if you are unable to use the place that has been offered to you, please let either myself or the tutor know immediately so that we may be able to offer the place to someone else.
